It is Tell again
Tell, Winner, MAGAZINE OF THE YEAR, at the 17th DAME
Tell is the magazine of the year at the 17th DAME. The People's Parliament, as the magazine is fondly called, beat its sister publication, Broad Street Journal to clinch the prize.
In clinching the prize, the magazine scored the maximum points in Child Friendly Reporting, Judicial Reporting, Press Reporter of the Year and Sports Reporting. It came second in three categories: Health Reporting, Judicial Reporting and Sport Reporting. The magazine was third in Action Photography and Press Reporter of the year. In all it had 20 points, 12 points clear from its closest rival, Broad Street Journal.
In all, Tell has the highest number of winning entries in this year's award. Established in 1991, the magazine has Nosa Igeibor as editor-in chief, Dele Omotunde as deputy editor-in- chief and Onome Osifo- Whiskey as managing editor, Ayo Akinkuotu and Damola Oyinlola as executive editors.
