JUDICIAL REPORTING

Joint effort
Tell magazine, Winner, JUDICIAL REPORTING, at the 17th DAME
The rot in the temple of Justice,” the winning work for this year's Judicial Reporting prize, exposes the corrupt practices of judicial officials in the course of discharging their duties.

Published in Tell magazine of February 5, 2007, the report noted that despite sanctions being imposed on erring judges and judicial officials in the last four years, there are still some of them who are neck-deep in the game of subversion of justice.

The story, which was the cover for that edition was written by a team of reporters led by the magazine's assistant editor, Wola Adeyemo. The story implied that these corrupt officials erect obstacles in the way of justice in Nigeria.
