Nik Ogbulie’s winning work, “ NSE’s many battles, “ celebrates the laudable achievements of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) over the years. Nik Ogbulie in his capital market reporting informs his readers that strengthening the mission and vision of an organization requires an effective war campaign of the magnitude being carried out by Dr. Ndi Okereke-Onyiuke led NSE and Dora Akinyuli led NAFDAC.
The NSE’s battle for a unified Stock Exchanges, resolution of the issue of unpaid dividends and the online real-time demands have helped to build confidence in the market. Nigerian banks previously run as private equities are now capitalized at the Exchange. Then came this Trade Alert debate which calls for security of stocks over profit to clients. It is the NSE's current war.
There are other battles for the NSE which includes the private equities. The Nigerian user of the MTN, Glomobile & Vmobile networks and organizations like Shell Nigeria want to be co-investors in organizations that take so much from them.
