Mr. Lanre Idowu, CEO Diamond Publications Ltd. and editor-in-chief of Media Review since 1991. Mr. Idowu holds Bachelors in History from the University of Lagos, Akoka (1979) and a Masters degree in Public Communications from Fordham University, New York (1982). He has worked leading Nigerian titles such as the Daily Times in 1982 as a writer, The Guardian in 1983 as a reporter, The Democrat 1984-85 as an assistant editor, the United States Information Service as a media consultant from 1985-86. He joined
Thisweek magazine in 1986 as an associate editor, rose to become its editor in 1987 and deputy editor-in-chief in 1989. He was CEO of Richard Munds Ltd. 1989-91 before joining Diamond Publications. He is quite active on the media education circuit as a participant and resource person. He is editor of Watching the Watchdogs: Media Review at 10, 2001, DPL;

Chief Segun Olusola, OFR, mni, broadcaster and cultural enthusiast. He was one of the earliest faces and voices on Nigerian television in 1959. Before he
retired from the Nigerian Television Authority as a director in 1987, he had served as controller of programmes, Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation-TV, 1965-74. He was also an executive producer at the Western Nigeria Broadcasting Service, 1955-59.
Educated at Syracuse University 1960-61, he was also at Pittsburgh University in 1980. A former Ambassador
of Nigeria to the Organisation of African Unity and Ethiopia 1987-92, he was also Ambassador in Residence at the International Training Institute for Peace, Lagos. He is founder of the African Refugees Foundation (AREF). An alumni of the prestigeous National Institute, Kuru and recipient of the national award of Officer of the Federal Republic.

Mr. Moses Ihonde, Author, diplomat and industrialist. A past President of the Nigeria-American Chamber of Commerce, he served as consul general at Nigeria’s
Consulate in Atlanta, Georgia in the 80s. Mr. Ihonde was a high school teacher before joining public service. He was an Information officer with the federal ministry of Information and served as chief press secretary to former Head of State General Yakubu Gowon in the 70s. His insights into the workings of that government provided ample material for his work, FIRST CALL: Analysis of the Gowon Years, Diamond Publications, 2004. He has worked as a diplomat in various countries. He sits on the board of various companies spanning diverse interests as banking, manufacturing and trading.

Mr. Olu Ajomale is a chartered accountant; and for many years an active member of the Jaycees International. He has worked at Mobil and Ashland (now
Addax) oil companies. He is a well sought trainer.

Oluremi Oyo is the managing director, News Agency of
Nigeria. A leading name in Nigerian journalism, she
was senior special assistant to President Olusegun
Obasanjo, 2003-2007; president of the Nigerian Guild
of Editors, 1998-2003; chief of bureau of the Inter
Press Agency, Desk Editor, NAN, 1981-85 and principal
editor, Radio Nigeria.
A past judge of DAME, she is a
graduate of the Universities of Kent, Canterbury and
Lagos, Akoka. She is widely travelled.
