TV DOCUMENTARY

A winner again
Deji Badmus , Winner, TV DOCUMENTARY, at the 17th DAME
This year's winning entry in the TV Documentary of the year stems from the controversies trailing the Police Trust Fund. Titled' “In the name of police” and anchored by Deji Badmus, head of the political desk, Channels TV, the documentary vividly captures the issue and personalities involved in the whole saga.

This is Badmus’s second DAME. He was the award's TV Reporter of the year in 2006. Born March 15, 1977, Badmus, a 2001 graduate of Mass Communication from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, attended St Ambrose Secondary School, Ondo. He joined Channels TV in 2004 as a reporter after his Youth Service at the Taraba TV. He was this year’s winner of the Wole Soyinka Investigative Reporter of the Year and CNN/MultiChoice African TV Reporter of the year.
